EMAV, part of the Media Capital Group, unveiled a VP XR studio using Alfalite LED technology integrated by VANTeC Danmon Group Portugal, signaling a boost for Portugal’s film, TV, and advertising sectors.

The VP XR studio strengthens Media Capital Group’s strategy to lead technologically in Portugal and expand internationally, offering a scalable space for creatives to meet evolving broadcast and digital storytelling needs.

EMAV leaders praised the LED wall for precise color reproduction, uniform brightness, and flexible lighting, noting fast on-site installation and time savings on first production.

VANTeC highlighted seamless compatibility between Alfalite LEDs and Pixotope rendering/tracking systems, emphasizing advanced integration and collaboration across multiple platforms.

VANTeC Danmon Group Portugal facilitated system integration and underscored the synergy of Alfalite LEDs with Pixotope for real/virtual convergence.

Luis Garrido of Alfalite framed the project as a European collaboration empowering creatives with reliable, precise, and adaptable tools, crediting VANTeC’s leadership and partners like Pixotope, Tangram Solutions, and Raised by Monsters.

Garrido also credited the collaboration with enabling a scalable, European VP XR ecosystem for filmmakers and directors of photography.

The project is a collaboration among EMAV, VANTeC, and Alfalite, with Pixotope, Tangram Solutions, and Raised by Monsters contributing, showcasing seamless integration of LED panels with rendering and tracking for real-time virtual production.

The studio enables hyper-realistic virtual environments for film, TV, commercials, music videos, and live events, aiming to shorten production times compared with outdoor shoots.

A 25 by 5 meter Alfalite Modularpix Pro 1.9 ORIM VP XR LED wall and an 8 by 5 meter Modularpix Pro 3.9 HB VP XR LED ceiling are powered by Pixotope’s real-time graphics engine and TrackMen camera tracking systems to create immersive virtual environments.
