Two Arrested in Major Weapons and Narcotics Bust: Ghost Guns, AR-15s, and Drugs Seized
April 8, 2026
The investigation highlights ongoing local and county efforts to curb weapons offenses and illicit drug activity in the area.
Investigators reviewed Henderson’s cell phones to identify Fabio as an accomplice; a storage-unit raid and arrest followed on March 27.
Both investigations involved significant firearm-related items and drugs, resulting in multiple charges against Henderson and Fabio.
Fabio faces multiple charges, including manufacturing, transporting, and defacement of weapons (two counts each), conspiracy to manufacture/transport/deface weapons, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, distribution of drug paraphernalia, possession of a high-capacity magazine, and possession of drug paraphernalia as a disorderly persons offense.
Authorities stress concerns about illegal weapon manufacturing, including ghost guns, and note the involvement of the county SWAT team due to weapons components and tactical gear; the investigation remains ongoing and calls for the presumption of innocence.
A second court-authorized search at a Burleigh storage unit on March 27 uncovered an AR-15 lower receiver, a ghost gun lower, a drill press, methamphetamine, a high-capacity magazine, a pellet gun, holsters, drug paraphernalia, scales, and a ballistic vest carrier.
Calvin Fabio, a 47-year-old Burleigh resident, is identified as Henderson’s accomplice and faces numerous drug and weapons offenses.
Henderson, a 42-year-old Wildwood resident, was linked to a stolen-vehicle report and later charged with multiple weapons offenses and motor vehicle theft.
A joint investigation by the North Wildwood Police Department, Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, and Regional SWAT led to the arrest of Brian Henderson and Calvin Fabio in connection with a stolen vehicle, weapons, and narcotics case.
The case remains active and is being handled under New Jersey’s bail reform framework; tips from the public are encouraged through the North Wildwood Police Department Detective Division for potential additional leads.
As with all such cases, charges are accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Earlier, Henderson’s December 29, 2025 arrest led to a vehicle search that uncovered a ballistic vest, gun accessories, suppressors, and other firearm components, amplifying weapons charges.
