British Wildlife Photography Awards 2026: Stunning Winners Unveiled at Nunnington Hall Exhibition

The British Wildlife Photography Awards 2026 winners have been announced, with 75 photographs selected for display at Nunnington Hall in North Yorkshire.
Nunnington Hall will host the exhibition from Saturday, May 16 to July 5, featuring 75 photographs across the BWPA.

Over 12,000 images were submitted across 11 adult categories, plus Youth categories, and there is a Wildlife in HD Video award.
The overall winner is Paul Hobson, who won £3,500 for a toad swimming across a woodland reflection, captured from a pond-floor perspective in Sheffield.
The exhibition opens on May 16 and runs through July 5, with free entry for National Trust members and for under-fives.
Ben Lucas won the Young British Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2026 for a mute swan cygnet resting scene.
BWPA director Will Nicholls praised the winners for celebrating the wonder, diversity, and character of British wildlife through exceptional photography.
The 2027 BWPA competition is now open for entries via the BWPA website, inviting photographers of all levels to submit nature images.
