99% of Indian Creators Embrace Generative AI, Boosting Growth and Innovation

Creative generative AI is defined as tools that aid ideation, creation, and editing across images, video, audio, and design.
In India, an overwhelming 99% of creators report actively using creative generative AI, with 95% saying AI has accelerated business or follower growth and 85% noting it helped them produce content they wouldn’t have created otherwise, while 97% say the creator economy is positively affected.
Creators in India are leveraging AI across tasks like editing, upscaling, and enhancement (77%), generating new assets (75%), and ideation (58%), with 89% having used more than one AI tool in the past three months.
The survey, conducted in September 2025 by Adobe in partnership with The Harris Poll, surveyed more than 16,000 creators who publish digital content several times per month, focusing on emerging and semi-professional creators from Gen Z and Millennials.
Despite high adoption, concerns remain: 78% worry about content being used to train AI models without permission, along with costs (38%), lack of clarity on model training (30%), and unreliable output quality (28%).
Mobile devices are increasingly central to creation, with 81% frequently creating on mobile and 89% expecting to produce more on mobile in the coming year.
Adobe's Creators’ Toolkit Report summarizes findings from a global survey of over 16,000 creators across multiple countries, including India, on the use and impact of creative generative AI and mobile tools.
Attitudes toward agentic AI are broadly positive, with 90% optimistic or excited and 96% willing to use AI that learns their creative style; top applications include automating repetitive tasks (66%), brainstorming ideas (63%), and gaining content performance insights (57%).
