Al Masaood Energy unveiled a project to refine used tyres into export-grade crude oil, touted as the Gulf’s first of its kind, with EU-approved import status and tax exemptions, and reportedly sold out prior to production completion.

The company announced UAE and Middle East expansion driven by autonomous, AI-powered production, including a strategic partnership with ADNOC to deploy self-operating AI-driven production solutions in oil and gas through 2026.

Schneider Electric also opened a manufacturing facility in Dammam and an electrical assembly centre in Sharjah, with plans to broaden its Gulf and Africa footprint.
