MLS NEXT Unveils 2024-25 MVPs and Goal of the Year Winners in Youth Soccer

The MLS NEXT youth soccer platform announced the winners of the MVP and Goal of the Year awards for the 2024-25 season, recognizing top talents across four age groups: U15, U16, U17, and U19.
MLS NEXT, launched in 2020, is a leading youth development platform in North America, featuring 29 MLS academies and over 16,000 players.
Tyler Brown from Vancouver Whitecaps FC was named U16 MVP, scoring 33 goals, including 17 in January and February, making him the first Canadian to earn this honor and the second-highest scorer among MLS players in the U16 and U18 categories.
Justin Ellis from Orlando City SC was named U19 MVP, scoring 18 goals, helping his team win the 2025 Generation adidas Cup, and making his MLS debut.
Logan Moniz from FC Greater Boston Bolts was awarded U17 MVP, netting 21 goals and guiding his team to the MLS NEXT Cup, while also being a regular on the U.S. U17 Youth National Team.
Gavin Hancock from Albion SC Los Angeles received the fan-voted U19 Goal of the Year award, while Sammy Berger from Strikers FC was honored with the U15 Goal of the Year.
Edison Niles from St. Louis CITY SC was named U15 MVP, scoring 31 goals and leading his team to the MLS NEXT Cup semifinals.
Nolan Cotter from AC River was awarded the U17 Goal of the Year for his standout performance.
