However, following a patch update on January 9, 2025, players encountered a significant glitch that awarded excessive League Tokens for completing League Quests, which led to unfair advantages in the game.

EA Sports acknowledged the glitch after 24 hours of silence, admitting that it created rifts among players who exploited the issue versus those who played fairly.

In response to the situation, the developers have temporarily disabled the League Token Exchange and League creation features while they investigate the glitch.
