NVIDIA, a leading chip manufacturer, has announced plans to acquire land in northern Israel for a new technological campus, underscoring its commitment to boosting AI innovation.

The desired location for this new campus is near NVIDIA's existing offices in Yokneam, which must be designated for high-tech use and offer excellent transportation accessibility.

NVIDIA seeks building rights for up to 180,000 square meters (1.9 million square feet) of construction space, emphasizing the need for immediate availability to support its expansion.

The company intends to purchase up to 120 dunams (29 acres) of contiguous land, with plans to accommodate at least 3,000 employees over several years.

If established, this campus would become NVIDIA's largest development center outside the United States, reinforcing Israel's role in global technology advancements.

This new investment in Israel enhances the technological alliance between Israel and the U.S., while diversifying NVIDIA's development base in a politically favorable region.

NVIDIA’s Israeli team recently developed the Israel-1 supercomputer, which ranks among the world's best, further solidifying Israel's status as a tech hub.

This initiative follows NVIDIA's previous acquisition of Israeli-based Mellanox, which has significantly impacted the AI industry.
