Quick Parts are now accessible from the context menu while drafting emails, enabling right-click insertion and saving reusable content as Quick Parts.

An upcoming improvement will let admins manage multiple inbox rules at once, including bulk delete, enable, or disable actions across selected rules.

Entra is shifting toward passkeys as the default authentication method, phasing out SMS-based MFA for stronger security and cross‑platform compatibility.

New Offline settings in General > Offline let admins configure how many days of email are saved (default 30, with a range from 7 to 180) and control whether users can change it.

Outlook is adding event-based email filtering, enabling drag-and-drop calendar rescheduling on mobile, expanding business mailbox storage to 100GB by September 2026, and retiring legacy calendar sharing in favor of cross-tenant access policies through late 2026 to early 2027.

The message list now shows a fourth content column when filters or sorts are applied, improving visibility of results.

Intune adds unattended remote support for troubleshooting, registry inventory for diagnostics, and a shift from app-targeting to assignment filters for policy application by January 2027.

Teams will require participation consent for AI usage policies before meetings, move live captions to a right-hand panel, enhance real-time security monitoring, introduce a single-pane troubleshooting view, and retire Live Chat and Google Calendar sync by October 2026.

Copilot updates expand AI-driven productivity with draft assistance, interactive PowerPoint tools, unified apps, third-party integrations, a simplified UI, and features like Ask Copilot in Teams and session sharing.
