Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, announced the successful completion of the 'One Billion Meals' campaign, which distributed one billion meals to 65 countries over three years.

Launched during Ramadan 2022, the campaign aimed to provide essential food aid to vulnerable communities across 50 countries.

To ensure the ongoing provision of food aid in the future, Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the establishment of sustainable real estate endowments.

In addition to the completed distribution of one billion meals, Sheikh Mohammed announced plans for another 260 million meals to be distributed in the coming year.

Throughout its duration, the initiative has delivered vital assistance to displaced individuals and families in 13 countries, including Jordan, India, Pakistan, Lebanon, Kyrgyzstan, Angola, and Uganda.

The campaign aligns with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 2, which seeks to end hunger by 2030.

Expressing gratitude for the blessings of giving, Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the generosity of the UAE, reinforcing its role as a symbol of goodness.
