Former Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam will induct Colin Reed, while Larry Gatlin will induct Bill Cody; the figure who will induct Combs has yet to be announced.

During his performance at the Luke Combs Bootleggers Bonfire festival in Miramar Beach, Florida, on October 12, Luke Combs received a surprise announcement about his upcoming induction into the Music City Walk of Fame.

The induction ceremony is set for October 30 at Music City Walk of Fame Park in Nashville, where Combs will receive one of the stars numbered 105 through 109.

Combs is celebrated for his consistent quality in modern mainstream country music, blending high-energy anthems with heartfelt love songs.

Deana Ivey, President and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp, praised Combs for his successful career and deep connection with fans, highlighting the significance of this honor.

In addition to his musical achievements, Combs is set to open his new bar, 'Category 10,' in downtown Nashville on November 2, which is expected to be the largest entertainment complex in the area.

The announcement was made by his manager, Christopher Kappy, and Combs expressed his gratitude to his team and family during the event.

As a two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year, Combs will be honored alongside notable inductees such as Jimmy Buffett, The Fairfield Four, Colin Reed, and Bill Cody.

This ceremony will also posthumously honor Jimmy Buffett, who passed away on September 1, 2023, and recognize the Grammy-winning gospel quartet, The Fairfield Four.

Combs, who famously dropped out of Appalachian State University just before earning his business degree to pursue music, has achieved 18 tracks at the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Prior to his induction, Combs will perform with Eric Church at a sold-out show in North Carolina to raise funds for Hurricane Helene relief.

The Music City Walk of Fame, established in 2006, features permanent sidewalk medallions honoring inductees and is supported by various sponsors, including Gibson and Metro Nashville International Airport.
