On April 1, 2025, Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry represented Pakistan at the Border Security Summit 2025 held in London.

Chaudhry stated that Pakistan is actively engaged at the global level to combat illegal immigration and enhance border security under the directives of the Prime Minister and the Interior Minister.

He met with UK Home Secretary Yvette Cooper, UK Deputy Foreign Minister Hamish Faulkner, and Angela Eagle to discuss border security.

During the summit, he reiterated Pakistan's stance on the necessity of global cooperation to combat illegal immigration and cross-border crimes, advocating for a comprehensive approach to these challenges.

The summit aimed to enhance international cooperation in addressing border security challenges faced by nations worldwide.

Chaudhry engaged in discussions with interior ministers from Germany, Spain, Austria, and Poland, focusing on international collaboration in border security.

Key topics included the impact of technology on border security, strategies for combating human trafficking, and effective migration management.

He emphasized the importance of curbing illegal immigration while promoting legal pathways for migration during talks with British officials.

UK Deputy Foreign Minister Hamish Faulkner noted the positive outcomes from a previous meeting with Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi regarding security collaboration.
