The event reported impressive sales figures, with Billboard noting that half of the top ten on the April 26-dated Top Album Sales chart consisted of RSD 2025 titles.

Gracie Abrams' 'Live from Radio City Music Hall' ranked as the second-best-selling album, followed by live albums from Rage Against the Machine and Laufey.

Other notable best-selling albums included Fleetwood Mac's picture disc, Gorillaz's 'Demon Days Live from the Apollo Theater,' and The Doors' 'Strange Days 1967: A Work in Progress.'

Among the standout singles from the event were 'Guess' by Charli XCX featuring Billie Eilish and 'Encore at the Garden' by The Killers with Bruce Springsteen.

The tribute album featured iconic Nirvana tracks such as 'Lithium,' 'In Bloom,' and 'Heart-Shaped Box,' showcasing the band's enduring legacy.

This tribute performance originally streamed live in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, featuring blink-182's Travis Barker on drums.

Charli XCX's mixtape 'Number 1 Angel,' which was initially released in 2017, also saw a vinyl release this Record Store Day, contributing to the event's overall success.

In a notable performance earlier this year, Post Malone sang 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' with surviving Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic during SNL50: The Homecoming Concert.
