Bayer Leverkusen has firmly denied reports suggesting that FC Bayern Munich has reached an agreement with Florian Wirtz regarding personal terms for a transfer.

The club labeled these rumors as a 'falsehood,' emphasizing that no such agreement exists, in response to inquiries from RTL/ntv and sport.de.

Wirtz, a key player for Bayer Leverkusen, is currently under contract until 2027, and the club is reportedly seeking a transfer fee in the hundreds of millions of euros.

While Bayern Munich is actively interested in acquiring Wirtz, the current situation remains uncertain, with no concrete updates on negotiations.

In addition to Bayern, other clubs such as Manchester City and Real Madrid are also reportedly interested in the 21-year-old German international.

Fernando Carro, Leverkusen's Spanish managing director, stated that there has been no official offer from Bayern for Wirtz and criticized Bayern's management for creating a 'show' around the situation.

Leverkusen's sports director, Simon Rolfes, expressed hope that Wirtz will remain with the club, noting that there are 'no other developments' regarding his status.
