Square Enix is releasing a physical-only Life is Strange Collection for PlayStation 5 on October 2, 2025, which includes all five titles from the franchise in remastered and special edition formats, available for pre-order now at $49.99.

The Life is Strange series is renowned for its emotional, narrative-driven gameplay, blending supernatural elements with everyday life, and has won over 100 awards, including honors from The Game Awards, BAFTA, Peabody, and GLAAD.

The collection includes quality-of-life improvements such as remastered visuals with enhanced lighting and textures, powered by a new engine.

The collection features popular titles such as Life is Strange Remastered, Before the Storm Remastered, Life is Strange 2, True Colors Deluxe Edition, and Double Exposure Ultimate Edition, along with all DLC for each game.

The narrative centers on the lives of Max and Chloe, highlighting intense moments that create an engaging, emotional adventure.

Although the bundle requires digital redemption for three of the five titles, it is considered a good value given the number of games included.

The collection will retail for $49.99 at select retailers, with pre-orders available now.

Only Life is Strange: True Colors and Double Exposure will be on disc; the other three titles must be redeemed via a PS Store code included in the package.

This trend of including mostly digital content in physical releases has faced criticism, especially with recent Xbox ports to PS5.

The original Life is Strange features fully motion-captured facial animations, and Life is Strange 2 includes new outfits and a farewell episode.
