Logitech has announced the launch of Muse, a digital stylus designed specifically for the Apple Vision Pro, aiming to enhance creative and professional workflows in spatial computing.

Pre-orders for the Logitech Muse are now available on the Apple Store at $130, with delivery expected next Wednesday, coinciding with the launch of the new Vision Pro headset, which features higher resolution, a 120Hz mode, longer battery life, and a more comfortable band.

Muse offers precise tracking in six degrees of freedom (6DoF), low latency, and real-time haptic feedback, enabling users to interact naturally and experience tactile immersion in spatial applications.

The stylus supports both 2D creation on physical surfaces and 3D creation in open air, with pressure-sensitive and force-sensitive controls to adjust brush effects during use.

Features include real-time haptic feedback, a pressure-sensitive tip for surface use, and a force-sensing button for adjusting line thickness during air drawing, making it a versatile creative tool.

Compared to Logitech’s MX Ink stylus, Muse features two flush buttons instead of three protruding buttons and lacks pogo pins for docking, emphasizing a sleek, flush design.

Targeted at professionals in engineering, architecture, design, and science, Muse facilitates navigation, annotation, and complex project execution within immersive environments with high precision.

Support for Muse is being integrated into several apps like Crayon, doppl by Interaptix, Sketch Pro, and Spatial Analogue, with more applications expected to add support in the coming weeks, enhancing collaborative and visualization capabilities.

Priced at $129.95, Muse is comparable to Logitech’s MX Ink stylus for Meta Quest headsets but supports only USB-C charging without a dock, which could pose a risk of losing the stylus.
