The Prom, a musical comedy, runs February 13–22 at Kelsey Theatre on Mercer County Community College’s West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Opening night features a reception on February 13, followed by a Post-Prom event on February 14 with food, music, games, and magic; attendees are encouraged to dress up.

The cast includes Emma Nolan as Tori Cavallo, Michael Zweig as Barry Glickman, Christina Parke as Dee Dee Allen, Edgar K. Mariano as Trent Oliver, Jina Choi as Angie Dickinson, and Meah Jones as Alyssa Greene, with an ensemble from various locations.

The Prom debuted on Broadway in 2018, later earning multiple Tony nominations and winning the 2019 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Musical.

Showtimes are: Fridays at 8 p.m. on Feb 13 and 20; Saturdays at 8 p.m. on Feb 14 and 21; Sundays at 2 p.m. on Feb 15 and 22, plus a matinee on Feb 21.

The show partners with Thank You 5 Productions to collect gently used prom attire for Operation Prom National Network and collaborates with Rainbow Alliance to raise funds for HiTOPS, supporting LGBTQ+ youth in New Jersey.

The plot centers on four fading Broadway stars who insert themselves into a small-town prom controversy about a student wishing to bring her girlfriend, blending satire with themes of empathy, identity, and social justice.

Showtimes span Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with matinees on February 21 and 22, concluding on February 22, 2026.

Production is led by Beverly Kuo-Hamilton and Evan Paine as producers, with Laurie Gougher directing and François Suhr as music director; choreographers are Sheilla Kraft and Simon Hamilton, supported by full design and production crews.
