Google Play Accelerator India opens applications for its third cohort, inviting up to 20 India-based startups with published apps on Google Play to join a three-month, equity-free program in July 2026 that emphasizes AI and ML-powered products for Indian and global users.

The program aims to boost app quality, scale AI-driven innovation, and accelerate growth by giving startups access to Google’s technology, expertise, and global network.

Participants will receive a hybrid curriculum: an in-person bootcamp in the first week, about two months of virtual mentorship and on-demand sessions, and a final in-person Demo Day in November 2026 to present to Google teams, investors, media, and ecosystem stakeholders.

Selected startups gain comprehensive support, including guidance on app quality and growth, design, data safety, global expansion, a dedicated Google Startup Success Manager, mentorship, technical audits, and customized performance and security reports.

Program includes mentorship from Google experts, assistance with AI/ML integration, and tailored performance and security reporting to track progress.

Alumni outcomes highlight reduced crashes, higher revenue, improved conversion rates, and stronger organic keyword growth.

Past cohorts have cumulatively logged more than 300 hours of mentoring across participating companies and delivered tangible product improvements.

The accelerator spans 12 weeks in total, divided between the initial bootcamp, virtual mentorship, and culminating with a November 2026 Demo Day.
