The Telangana Police chief announces a unification drive to bring major policing platforms—including the Telangana Police website, Hawk Eye, CCTNS, and HRMS—under a single framework, backed by a permanent technical team at the DGP’s Office to ensure continuity across officer transfers.

A dedicated Tech Team will be formed in the DGP’s Office to oversee technology-driven initiatives and unify these platforms under one framework, ensuring smooth maintenance and continuity.

Officers are tasked with drafting a joint action plan to deploy AI-based platforms like CCTNS 2.0 and to build data-driven dashboards, while integrating all offices with the e-Office system to translate technology into practical field outcomes.

In parallel, the force will prepare a joint action plan for implementing AI-based platforms such as CCTNS 2.0 and creating data-driven dashboards.

E-office integration will be extended to all offices under the DGP Establishment to streamline file movement and digital workflows, enabling seamless monitoring of progress.

All offices under the DGP Establishment will be brought onto the e-Office system to facilitate efficient filing and tracking.

A five-member IPS core team has been formed with a six-month target to drive implementation, assigning key roles: N. Shweta will oversee CCTNS 2.0 and HRMS, R. Bhaskaran will lead AI integration into CCTNS, Chennuri Rupesh will handle social media, video analytics and drone tech, K. Apoorva Rao will manage data intelligence and training, and Avinash Mohanty will monitor traffic and road-safety modules.

Key personnel include DIG Bhaskaran for AI integration in CCTNS, DCP Rupesh for social media, video analytics and AI drones, SP Apoorva Rao for data intelligence and training, and IPS Avinash Mohanty for traffic and road safety oversight.

Specific assignments also place N. Shweta in charge of CCTNS 2.0 development, HRMS monitoring, and CID coordination, with Bhaskaran handling AI integration, Rupesh heading social media and drone initiatives, Apoorva Rao focusing on data and training, and Avinash Mohanty overseeing traffic safety modules.

The briefing was led by senior officers, including the DGP’s Technical Services head, V. V. Srinivasa Rao, at a high-level review meeting in Hyderabad.

Plans include creating an AI Task Force modeled after Marvel to oversee AI initiatives and launching a unified mobile platform, TS-COPS, to integrate CCTNS and HRMS for a single-interface experience.

The broader push envisions a centralized, high-speed platform to rapidly integrate additional data layers and a Marvel-style AI Task Force to monitor all AI-related initiatives in policing.
