The lead single, hate that i made you love me, has generated strong early momentum, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and recording 8.788 million Spotify streams in its first 24 hours, signaling a blockbuster start for the Petal era.

Petal is a fully solo project, marking a departure from Ariana Grande’s collaborations on some earlier releases.

Promotional strategy includes unconventional reveal methods, such as arena screens showing track titles at multiple tour stops to let fans piece together the tracklist over time.

The zine features entirely new imagery not published elsewhere and complements the Petal album, which is scheduled for release on July 31, 2026, and comprises 12 tracks with no featured artists.
