Two of Jack White’s long-awaited live shows in South Africa—his first-ever on the continent—will take place in Johannesburg and Cape Town this December, presented by BreakOut Events as part of a growing summer calendar bringing major international acts to the country.

White will perform a diverse set spanning material from The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather, and his solo work, including tracks from his seventh solo album, Frozen Charlotte.

Frozen Charlotte, released in 2026, blends blues, rock, garage, punk, folk, and experimental styles and was produced and mixed at Third Man Studio in Nashville.

Both Johannesburg and Cape Town shows are scheduled as afternoon/evening performances to showcase his Happiness Anytime material to South African audiences.

Ticket pricing in Johannesburg is currently in Phase 1, with no clear timeline for changes.

The tour marks White’s first-ever South African appearance, with Johannesburg’s Old Park Station on December 11 and Cape Town’s Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on December 14.

General on-sale begins at 9:00 AM on September 9, with a Laylo presale starting at 10:00 AM on September 8.

Cape Town’s Kirstenbosch show will feature Msaki as the supporting artist, with tickets starting at R995 before fees.

Happiness Anytime is described as groove-forward, aiming to linger with listeners and drawing inspiration from a wide range of artists to create escapist, movement-friendly music.

The tour expands Bridges’ touring footprint after releases like Good Thing and Gold-Diggers Sound, bringing his music to South Africa for the first time.
