Ellis Group will supply stable, high-performance GPU resources through March 2027 and will help establish clusters that connect multiple GPUs via high-speed networks.

Ellis Group has been selected as the GPU resource supplier for South Korea’s 2026 Artificial Intelligence Research Computing Support Project, funded by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the IITP.

The project, valued at 15.3 billion won, aims to provide a cloud-based high-performance GPU infrastructure and research environment for domestic research institutes and universities to advance large-scale and generative AI research.

CEO Jae Won Kim says the contract recognizes Ellis Group’s capabilities in operating large-scale AI infrastructure and delivering end-to-end AI cloud solutions, from hardware to software platforms.

The initiative is designed to let researchers in academia, industry, and research organizations in Korea focus on research and model development without building their own AI infrastructure.
