Kelly was instrumental in crafting the executive order that led to the creation of USAISI.

She is tasked with developing 'red team' testing standards for AI developers, to be finalized by July.

The USAISI aims to establish universal safety testing guidelines for AI companies, addressing a current regulatory gap.

The institute's broader goals include setting safety guidelines, evaluating AI models, and conducting fundamental AI research.

Kelly's background includes a Yale Law School education, a tenure at the Obama White House, and experience at Capital One.
