Dubai is launching the second cycle of its 'Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator', inviting global AI experts and companies to collaborate on enhancing government services, with applications open until August 28, 2025.

Managed by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) in partnership with Dubai Future Accelerators, the accelerator focuses on enhancing public services, creating innovative solutions, integrating AI into government operations, and improving accessibility.

Established in June 2023, the DCAI operates under the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aiming to scale AI across Dubai's government ecosystem.

Saeed Al Falasi, Executive Director of DCAI, emphasized the program's goal to enhance the quality of public services in Dubai, positioning the city as a leader in AI deployment to improve community well-being.

The inaugural cycle of the accelerator in 2024 attracted 615 companies from 55 countries, resulting in 183 AI use cases, with 75 already piloted, showcasing Dubai's commitment to innovation.

Selected companies will participate in an intensive eight-week residency from October 6 to November 28, 2025, where they will receive mentorship, access to decision-makers, and support in piloting their projects.

Participants will work directly with over 20 government entities, gaining access to experts and senior decision-makers without relinquishing any equity in their innovations.

The program offers fully sponsored accommodation and travel for the duration of the residency, allowing participants to focus entirely on their projects.

The DCAI’s strategy includes legislation, capacity-building, and technology adoption to ensure responsible AI deployment across all sectors.

This initiative is part of the 'Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence', aimed at establishing Dubai as a leading hub for AI-driven innovation across various sectors.

Additional initiatives, such as the Dubai AI Seal and training programs for AI prompt engineering, aim to enhance trust and expertise in AI applications within the public sector.

This initiative seeks to attract both local and international tech innovators to address current and future challenges in government services.
