HCLTech Unleashes AI-Driven Marketing Platform to Transform India's Martech Landscape

HCLTech has launched HCL Unica+, an AI-powered marketing platform designed to handle up to 500 million customer accounts and 1.4 billion touchpoints, supporting over 18 languages to serve the rapidly growing Indian martech industry, which is projected to reach nearly $94 billion by 2030.

HCLTech has shifted its strategic focus towards Generative AI, reducing its freshers hiring target from 10,000 to 7,000 by March 2025, citing efficiency gains from AI and operational improvements.
In June, HCLTech formed a multi-year strategic partnership with OpenAI to promote enterprise AI adoption, becoming one of its first strategic service partners, while also expanding alliances with AMD and Salesforce to accelerate AI, digital, and cloud innovations.

Financially, HCLTech reported a 6.8% sequential increase in net profit to Rs 4,257 crore in June, with revenues growing 6.7% year-over-year to Rs 28,057 crore, despite sluggish demand and a slight sequential decline.
