Punjab's Education Minister led a delegation to the AI Impact Expo to explore AI-driven education solutions for the state's school network.

He met with global tech firms—Google, Deloitte, Intel, OpenAI, NVIDIA, Dell—and Indian authorities from MeitY and the Ministry of Education to discuss integrating AI into Punjab’s pedagogy, national AI strategy, digital public infrastructure, and governance models.

The minister highlighted strengthening Foundational Literacy and Numeracy and Personalised Adaptive Learning through AI, aligning with MeitY and education ministry policy frameworks to create a scalable, governance-backed classroom model for Punjab.

Key officials present at the expo included Secretary School Education Sonali Giri, PSEB Chairman Dr. Amarpal Singh, and DGSE Arvind.

Conversations covered AI-enabled school education, including Personalised Adaptive Learning, Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, AI-assisted assessments, multilingual learning tools, teacher support systems, and real-time governance analytics.

The delegation engaged with AI players like Wadhwani AI, gnani.ai, and Bodh.ai to explore practical educational applications.

Interactions with AI ecosystem participants centered on AI-enabled school education applications such as Personalised Adaptive Learning, Foundational Literacy & Numeracy, AI-assisted assessments, multilingual tools, teacher support systems, and real-time governance analytics.
