BEDI Launches Spark•AI Cloud 2.0 and AI China Tour, Releases Urban AI Index Report at JXQ AI Forum 2026
April 27, 2026
The JXQ AI Forum 2026 in Beijing concluded with the theme Empowering Today, Inspiring Tomorrow, featuring 14 sessions across four thematic areas.
Spark•AI Cloud 2.0 runs as an integrated AI production environment built on Qianjin•AIOS and Xintian•AgentOS to streamline data-to-model-to-application workflows and curb deployment costs and complexity.
The forum drew participation from government, industry, academia, and research bodies, including academicians from CAE and SAEng, experts from MIIT, SASAC, and the National Health Commission, plus universities and local and regional officials and international guests.
The China Urban Artificial Intelligence Index Report was crafted by ICCS at Tsinghua University with partners, alongside contributions from USTC and the CICC Global Institute.
BEDI unveiled Spark•AI Cloud 2.0, released the China Urban Artificial Intelligence Index Report, announced the AI China Tour initiative, and formed the Collaborative Industry Alliance for AI Innovation Districts to outline industry-city integration paradigms for the 15th Five-Year Plan.
BEDI emphasized the press content and noted it reflected the official release without third-party edits.
The three-day forum attracted more than 2,200 attendees and exceeded 7.2 million online views.
Mouser Electronics highlighted a Q1 2026 release with 1,200+ brands and over 9,000 new parts, including STM32C5 MCUs and other industrial and IoT components.
The forum featured 14 sessions across four areas—AI Infrastructure, New Economy, Industrial Development, and Emerging Trends—covering over 100 topics such as computing infrastructure, trusted data, smart cities, and talent and finance ecosystems.
The forum disclosed the China Urban Artificial Intelligence Index Report, presenting a four-dimension city evaluation (industrial development, technological innovation, public services, governance) and a three-tier city typology (Leading, Dynamic, High-Potential) to guide AI development.
The index report was unveiled at the forum as a benchmark for industry-city development and advocates a scientific evaluation framework for targeted urban AI strategies.
Both press releases underscore ongoing efforts to advance AI-enabled industry ecosystems and supply chains in China and globally, with events and product launches aimed at accelerating adoption.
