Reliance Jio Unveils AI-Powered Call Agent and MyJio App Enhancements for Seamless User Experience

The Jio Call Agent will be integrated into the Jio network and can be summoned by saying “Hey Jio,” offering real-time transcription, speaker identification in calls, call summaries, task creation, and mid-call actions like booking a cab, ordering food, or scheduling appointments with user permission.
The system can real-time transcribe up to 10 speakers on conference calls, generate summaries, extract action points, and create shareable reminders.
Reliance Jio is launching AI-powered enhancements, introducing a Jio Call Agent and a transformed MyJio app that will act as personalized AI assistants for everyday tasks.
The transformation is built on agentic AI that can understand requests, decide, and execute actions without the user navigating through multiple screens.
For professional calls, the Call Agent will provide searchable transcriptions and summaries to help users find important details quickly.
The experience is designed to be seamless and conversational, with AI handling behind-the-scenes complexity while users interact naturally.
Jio emphasizes that the AI acts only with user approval, with every action and payment transaction requiring separate confirmation.
The MyJio app is evolving into a personal AI advisor and relationship manager, handling processes within the app such as managing services when moving cities, suggesting international roaming options, and assisting with eSIM self-KYC and activation.
The assistant can execute transactions during a call—such as ordering food, booking rides, reserving tables, or scheduling meetings—without leaving the call.
The platform aims to provide full model transparency and portability, allowing enterprises to own and control their AI models on India’s sovereign infrastructure.
Examples include relocating to a new city, choosing optimal international roaming plans with real-time usage alerts, and streamlined self-KYC and eSIM activation for new devices.
