Syneos Health opened a new Hyderabad hub focused on innovation, artificial intelligence and advanced clinical solutions to position Hyderabad as a global centre for healthcare technology and life sciences operations.

The Hyderabad hub expands the city’s role beyond IT services by leveraging its pharma, CRO, biotech, tech talent and data science ecosystem to attract global healthcare technology operations.

The new hub builds on existing Hyderabad operations at Raheja Mindspace and HITEC City, reinforcing Hyderabad as a strategic location for global healthcare, pharma, technology and life sciences operations.

Key AI applications include AI-driven clinical protocol design, predictive site selection, intelligent assistants, pharmacovigilance automation, signal detection, medical review, and generative AI for decision-making across clinical and commercial workflows.

Syneos Health’s broader strategy is to integrate AI across clinical development and commercialization, with more than 280 AI agents already advancing workflows and reducing data-to-insight timelines from days to hours.

The hub will develop production-ready AI solutions across clinical development, patient safety and commercialization, integrating technology, data and AI excellence with clinicians, safety scientists and commercial specialists to use AI in real-world healthcare workflows.

The hub aims to cover multiple stages of the biopharmaceutical lifecycle: clinical development (protocol design, recruitment, oversight, analytics), pharmacovigilance (NLP and large language models for case processing and safety signals), clinical surveillance (multimodal analytics), generative AI (retrieval-augmented systems and AI agents), and commercialization support (strategy, engagement, market access).

Overall, the facility marks a milestone for Hyderabad’s global healthcare ecosystem, signaling a shift toward AI-enabled clinical design, safety analysis, and data-driven decision-making in industry-wide practices.

Hyderabad is expanding its AI talent base with roles in GenAI engineering, prompt specialists, MLOps, data science, AI product management, regulatory/compliance, data engineering, and cybersecurity, with current openings listed on Syneos Health’s careers portal.
