A new partnership between OpenAI and Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) will boost AI startups across 17 countries, giving more than 700 CDL-affiliated startups access to OpenAI technology.

The initiative is designed to accelerate the commercial deployment of AI by removing resource constraints for early-stage ventures and turning scientific breakthroughs into market-ready products.

Participating ventures will receive OpenAI credits and higher rate limits, with a select group getting hands-on technical support and previews of OpenAI research.

CDL's 2026/27 program will offer startups direct access to OpenAI teams, enabling them to influence product development through feedback and to participate in ongoing research previews.

Sonia Sennik, CDL’s CEO, notes that the partnership connects CDL founders with OpenAI teams and supports integrating advanced AI at the earliest stages of invention.

The program leverages CDL’s 17-site global network, expanding international AI innovation and impact with mentor, researcher, and investor support.
