The Taipei Pavilion is focused on accelerating business matchmaking, technology exchange, and potential co-development between Taiwanese and Singaporean organizations, turning AI innovation into measurable outcomes for enterprises, public sector bodies, and communities across Singapore and the region.
Taipei and Singapore participants showcased a spectrum of capabilities, from AI-ready data infrastructure and edge computing to cybersecurity visibility, AI-powered diagnostics, real-time transcription and multilingual translation, and 2D-to-3D content conversion, with additional solutions in wireless collaboration, carbon management, conversational commerce, immersive training, and multilingual AI avatars.
Speakers noted that Singapore offers a trusted deployment environment and ASEAN access, while Taipei contributes AI infrastructure, semiconductors, hardware, edge computing, and systems integration to translate partnerships into practical regional solutions.
Taiwan-Singapore bilateral commerce has surged, with Taiwan becoming Singapore’s largest goods trading partner in 2025 at S$170.3 billion and a 94.1% trade increase in the first half of 2026 compared with the prior year, highlighting the strategic value of their collaboration for regional deployment and growth.
The event took place September 29-30 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre as part of Tech Week Singapore, aligning with the theme The Infrastructure Era and underscoring how Taipei’s ecosystem complements Singapore’s strengths in enterprise adoption, governance, connectivity, and ASEAN access.
Taipei aims to become an AI innovation city by integrating industry, research, infrastructure, and governance, including collaborations with NVIDIA for AI-enabled smart-city initiatives such as digital modelling and Taipei Metro upgrades.
This broader ambition encompasses responsible AI governance and projects spanning smart mobility, public services, manufacturing, enterprise technology, and community life, with NVIDIA partnership supporting Taiwan HQ and AI-enabled smart-city developments.
