AI, Tech Innovation Conference Unites Global Leaders to Revolutionize Energy Sector
October 7, 2026
The AI, Digital & Technology Innovation Strategic Conference will explore AI deployment in energy operations, covering automation, predictive analytics, asset management, cybersecurity, data infrastructure, and technology ROI, while addressing the infrastructure needs driven by AI and data centres.
AI will be central to both Strategic and Technical Conferences, addressing industrial automation, asset optimization, cybersecurity, energy infrastructure, and the growing power demands of data centres.
ADNOC hosts the event under the patronage of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, expecting around 239,000 attendees, more than 2,250 exhibiting companies, and over 1,800 speakers across 13 conference programmes.
Confirmed speakers include leaders from Siemens AG, Honeywell, AVEVA, Cognite, Siemens Energy, AIQ, Schneider Electric, SandboxAQ and others, offering multiple industry perspectives.
Key speakers include Caspar Herzberg (AVEVA), Dr Christian Bruch (Siemens Energy), Girish Rishi (Cognite), Vimal Kapur (Honeywell), Dennis Jol (AIQ), Uljan Sharka (Domyn), Olivier Oullier (Inclusive Brains), Tim Bawtree (Quantum Switch), Olivier Blum (Schneider Electric), and Jack Hidary (SandboxAQ).
The event has a record 7,261 abstract submissions across technical categories, with AI & Digital Transformation drawing 1,296 submissions; more than 200 sessions and 1,100 expert speakers will explore technologies and engineering solutions.
The expanded AI Zone (co-hosted by AIQ) will showcase applications such as reservoir modelling, autonomous operations, infrastructure inspection, grid management, and subsea robotics, with demonstrations like AI-native workflow orchestration by Stone Ridge Technology and AI-enabled autonomous upstream operations by Honeywell Forge Upstream.
Roland Busch of Siemens AG emphasizes embedding intelligence into infrastructure, sustained investment, engineering expertise, and cross-sector collaboration.
ADIPEC 2026 in Abu Dhabi (Nov 2–5) will bring together global technology and industrial CEOs to explore AI’s role in energy production, infrastructure, and operations.
AI Leadership Roundtables will be invitation-only, focusing on investment, infrastructure, governance, and regulatory issues related to AI adoption in energy.
EY and Gecko Robotics will showcase robotic inspection technologies for pipelines and power plants, integrating asset data with AI analytics, while Sinaha displays autonomous mobile robots and its Robotics Management System for warehouses.
The IEA projects AI adoption could save up to US$110 billion annually in power generation by 2035 and unlock up to 175 GW of additional transmission capacity; AI-driven data centres will raise electricity demand and influence grid needs.
