Orion Drift, formerly known as 'Project AR', is set to enhance the social gameplay experience established by Gorilla Tag.

In this new game, players will control robot avatars while retaining the signature arm-based locomotion system that made Gorilla Tag popular.

The game will feature expansive space stations capable of accommodating up to 200 players at once, providing large arenas for various gaming activities.

Players will navigate a space station filled with others, with the exciting option to jump between multiple floating stations.

Within these space stations, players can engage in a variety of activities, including games reminiscent of Gorilla Tag, Tackleball, Rocket Race, and obstacle courses like 'Scrap Run'.

Orion Drift will empower players to run their own servers, customize game modes, and utilize a level editor to create unique maps and activities.

The game promises to expand further with at least seven additional modules currently under construction, indicating a wealth of new game modes and activities on the horizon.

The initial reveal of Orion Drift was described as a 'development snapshot' featuring early gameplay footage, and sign-ups for a closed early access period are now open on their Discord.
