Kluge Interactive, known for the VR rhythm game Synth Riders, is set to launch its new arcade fighting game, FINAL FURY, in early access on May 8, 2025, for Meta Quest and Steam VR, priced at $9.99.

Players can immerse themselves in combat using real punches, dodges, and blocks in a fully realized VR environment.

FINAL FURY introduces innovative VR combat mechanics, enabling players to use real-world gestures to execute punches, special moves, and combos.

FINAL FURY is inspired by classic arcade titles and aims to blend traditional fighting game elements with immersive VR experiences.

The development of FINAL FURY has been guided by feedback from competitive players, including nine-time EVO champion Justin Wong, ensuring a refined fighting experience.

Players can engage in various modes, including single-player Arcade and Versus modes, as well as online competitions through matchmaking and private matches.

The game features online multiplayer capabilities, allowing cross-platform play with rollback netcode for a smooth gaming experience.

At launch, players can choose from six unique fighters, each with distinct moves and arenas, with plans for an expanding roster in future updates.

Key fighters include TEMPEST, who manipulates ice; GLITCH, a robot with bomb setups; and NIKO, a scavenger with electrical attacks, with five more characters to be announced.

The game features an original soundtrack composed by Zardonic, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.

FINAL FURY will be available on Quest 2 and above, as well as PC VR headsets via SteamVR.

Early previews indicate that Final Fury has great controls and a strong presentation, but further assessment is needed to evaluate character balance and offline modes.
