Founded in 2020 by former Magic Leap executives, Sightful has raised $61 million in venture capital, initially focusing on AR hardware before pivoting to a software-centric model.

Spacetop is specifically designed for modern Windows laptops equipped with dedicated neural processing units (NPUs), including popular models from Dell, HP, and Microsoft.

The software is currently available in the US and Germany, with plans for further international expansion later in 2025.
