July 11, 2025
Zero Caliber 2 has released new PC VR gameplay footage and confirmed a Steam launch window for Q3 2025.
XREAL Games is preparing to release its game on PC VR, following its initial launch on Quest, with plans to bring it to Steam.
The PC VR version will include new features such as ragdoll physics, dynamic shadows, enhanced explosions, improved weapon effects, and more polished environments and character models.
Several missions are being rebuilt for the PC version to improve overall gameplay quality.
This version will also feature smarter enemy AI capable of using cover and flanking players, adding to the game's challenge.
XREAL Games clarified that they never intended to skip PC VR but needed additional time due to market uncertainties.
In addition, the studio announced that Zero Caliber 1 is targeting a Q3 2025 launch on PlayStation VR2, following the release of Zero Caliber: Shooting Range earlier in May.
The release window for Zero Caliber 2 on PlayStation VR2 will depend on the performance of Zero Caliber VR on the platform, with hopes for a holiday 2025 release if all goes well.
