Isabella Nichols has claimed the prestigious Aussie Treble, awarded to the best surfer across three key Australian events, including the iconic Bells Beach and the Gold Coast Pro.

As part of her Aussie Treble victory, Nichols received a new car, underscoring her remarkable performance throughout the Australian tour.

Her achievements included a win at Bells Beach and reaching the quarter-finals at both the Gold Coast and Margaret River, which helped her secure fourth place in the world rankings.

The final two events of the WTC Australian swing saw South African Jordy Smith and Hawaiian Gabriela Bryan emerge victorious, marking a notable absence of local winners.

Gabriela Bryan captured her second title of the year at Margaret River, defeating reigning world champion Caitlin Simmers in a dominant final.

Bryan's impressive performance throughout the event culminated in her ending Sally Fitzgibbons' season on May 25, 2025.

Jordy Smith achieved his eighth tour victory and second in 2025, following an eight-year drought that he ended earlier in El Salvador.

In addition to Nichols and Bryan, Australian women Molly Picklum and Tyler Wright also made the mid-season cut to continue competing for the world title.

Looking ahead, there are four more events scheduled before the finals in Fiji, set for August 2025.

This year's Australian events marked a historic moment, as it was the first time there were no Australian surfers in the men's or women's finals.
