2025 Michelin Guide: New Stars Shine in Belgium and Luxembourg's Culinary Scene

Wallonia also saw four new Michelin-starred restaurants recognized: Vicomté by Quentin Gallopyn in Roucourt, Le beau rivage by Curtis Maquet in Dave, Un max de goût by Maxime Zimmer in Comblain-au-Pont, and Bistrot Blaise by François-Xavier Simon in Marche-en-Famenne.
The 2025 Michelin Guide was unveiled at Handelbeurs in Antwerp, showcasing a selection of 790 recommended restaurants, including 151 that received Michelin stars.
This year, 13 restaurants across Belgium and Luxembourg were awarded their first Michelin star, further elevating the culinary reputation of the region.
In Flanders, five establishments celebrated their inaugural Michelin stars: Mémoire in Bruges, Haut in Ostend, La Botte in Genk, Le Julien in Lotenhulle, and Modest in Opglabbeek.
In Brussels, chef Kobe Desramaults earned his first Michelin star for the newly-opened restaurant Eliane, which has been lauded for its innovative dishes made with high-quality ingredients.
Maison Colette in Tongerlo, Antwerp, was awarded a second Michelin star, recognizing its outstanding culinary offerings.
Three restaurants were honored with the Michelin Green Star for their dedication to eco-responsible gastronomy: Sophie & Nicolas in Comblain-la-Tour, Gasthuis in Mechelen, and another unnamed establishment.
Additionally, three restaurants in Brussels received a Bib Gourmand for providing excellent meals at moderate prices: Babam in Watermael-Boitsfort, Lune Siamoise in Ixelles, and Au repos de la montagne in Uccle.
