I-care Group unveils Technical Associates of Europe (TAE), a new independent training and certification body based in Mons, Belgium, to broaden its European maintenance, reliability, lubrication, and predictive maintenance training offerings.

TAE will fuse TAC’s proven pedagogy with I-care’s field expertise, Wi-care wireless vibration sensors, the I-see AI platform, and reliability engineering know-how.

Technical Associates of Charlotte, established in 1961, has trained over 27,000 students and certified more than 18,000 vibration analysts, with ISO-aligned programs delivered by experienced industry veterans.

TAE aims to make TAC’s vibration analysis and machinery condition monitoring methodologies accessible across Europe, with certifications aligned to ISO 18436-2 for professionals in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Nordic countries, and Central/Eastern Europe.

TAE represents a major expansion of I-care’s training ecosystem by building on Technical Associates of Charlotte, a US-based organization acquired by I-care in 2023.

Oliver Dengis, Director of Technical Associates of Europe, says the goal is to blend practical I-care experience with TAC’s teaching methods to make maintenance and reliability training more accessible, recognized, and effective across Europe.

TAE will begin operations in December 2025 with a Europe-focused training program, leveraging TAC’s American methodologies; initial certifications will cover Predictive Maintenance, Vibration Analysis, Reliability Engineering, and Lubrication Management.

TAE will operate independently within the I-care Group to serve European markets while sharing a common mission of enhancing asset performance and operational excellence.
