Autheo Mainnet Launches: Pioneering Decentralized OS for Web, Blockchain, and AI Integration
June 30, 2026
Autheo launches its Mainnet for a decentralized OS that coordinates Web, blockchain networks, and AI agents as a single system, following extensive testnet activity with millions of wallets, contracts, and transactions.
Developer access is provided with tools and documentation, including a block explorer, RPC endpoints, API docs, GitHub status, core node programs, and THEO token emission access through builder programs, with a Sovereign Validator Node program partially subscribed.
Autheo promotes an integration-first approach to interoperability, arguing that the Internet lacks a universal coordination layer and that Bridges alone cannot achieve cross-system coordination among Web2, Web3, and AI agents.
The architecture combines TheoID (W3C-compliant DID), PQCNet (post-quantum cryptography), a sovereign Cosmos SDK Layer 0 with native IBC, and an integrated EVM-compatible Layer 1 using Proof-of-Stake and CometBFT finality, with Solidity able to run natively or be migrated.
The platform rests on four foundations: TheoID, PQCNet, a sovereign Cosmos SDK Layer 0 with IBC, and an EVM-compatible Layer 1 with PoS and CometBFT finality.
Autheo emphasizes a post-quantum security-first approach and plans ongoing ecosystem documentation, security updates, and listing announcements in the coming weeks.
The project has a global team of about 100 people across 25 countries and has undergone independent security audits by Halborn (testnet) and CertiK (Mainnet), with partnerships across infrastructure and ecosystem players.
Autheo’s ecosystem is supported by collaborations with infrastructure and security partners like Zeeve, InfStones, Halborn, CertiK, and TrustSwap, complemented by independent audits.
A global contributor base from major universities and research institutions supports the project, with ongoing security evaluations from external auditors.
Founders Todd Mortenson and Scott Bayless launched Autheo in mid-2021, building a platform designed to interconnect Web, blockchain, and AI with a focus on interoperability and post-quantum security.
The founders describe Autheo as a layer enabling cohesive operation of the web, chain, and AI, backed by a long-term IP strategy including patent families.
THEO token economics include a sovereign validator node program, partner slots, and a commerce program for long-term emissions, with preparations for builder portals and listings on Hydrex.fi and other exchanges.
