Binance Delists Six Digital Assets After Comprehensive Review, PIVX and PYR Prices Drop Significantly
August 3, 2026
Binance conducts regular, comprehensive asset reviews using a strict, multi-factor mechanism that assesses liquidity, development activity, network security, transparency, tokenomics, team commitment, and regulatory considerations, and delisting occurs if criteria aren’t met or market conditions change.
As part of this ongoing process, Binance has removed six digital assets from spot trading following a periodic review to maintain platform quality and user security.
Before delisting, all six assets received Monitoring Tags between April and July, signaling a warning phase and closer scrutiny, with spot trading pairs subsequently removed on the delisting date.
Market reaction followed the notice, with PIVX and PYR each down around 19% and 18% respectively, Hashflow hitting an all-time low near $0.007, and VIC and ACX down over 11% and 5%, while VANRY rose about 8% as a partial rebound.
The six delisted assets will stop accepting new futures trades on August 7, 2026, with settlements scheduled for the same day.
The monitoring-tag strategy has drawn attention to coins like Lisk (LSK) and Stacks (STX), which were tagged alongside ACX earlier in July.
This information is not financial advice.
Withdrawals for the delisted assets remain available until October 17, 2026, after which balances may be automatically converted to stablecoins if compatible, though this is not guaranteed.
Across Protocol (ACX) faced additional pressure after Coinbase suspended ACX trading in late July, and its team proposed a US-based corporate structure via an equity swap and USDC buyout, subject to change.
All spot trading pairs for the six delisted assets will be removed, and any open orders will be automatically canceled.
The assets delisted are Across Protocol (ACX), Hashflow (HFT), PIVX (PIVX), Vulcan Forged PYR (PYR), Vanar (VANRY), and Viction (VIC), effective with the specified delisting date.
Other services may be affected as part of the broader delisting process, including phased changes to Lending products, Binance Pay, Binance Pool, and certain margin products, with margin borrowing suspended prior to settlement.
