Lady Gaga will star alongside Joaquin Phoenix in 'Joker: Folie á Deux', the sequel to the 2019 film 'Joker' directed by Todd Phillips.

The sequel is set to feature at least 15 cover songs and will include original music, with the trailer releasing on April 9th.

The storyline will explore Harley Quinn's transformation from Dr. Harleen Quinzel to the Joker's accomplice, with scenes set in and around Arkham Asylum.

Other cast members include Zazie Beetz, Catherine Keener, and Brendan Gleeson, with Warner Bros. having released the first poster.

Scheduled for release on October 4, 2024, 'Joker: Folie á Deux' is rumored to be a musical and has a significantly higher budget than its predecessor.

The original 'Joker' film was a commercial and critical hit, grossing over $1 billion and earning Joaquin Phoenix an Academy Award.
