Record Store Day 2024 marked its 17th anniversary on April 20, celebrating independent music shops with special releases.

The event featured exclusive items like a Beatles 60th anniversary mini-turntable, limited edition gold vinyl of Buena Vista Social Club, and Fetty Wap's debut on violet vinyl.

A charity 7" vinyl with Dave Grohl and Anthrax members covered a Bad Brains song, supporting the health care of H.R., the band's frontman.

Vinyl sales, making up 71% of physical format revenues, have grown for 17 consecutive years, with a notable 122% increase following last year's Record Store Day.

Record Store Day continues to bolster the vinyl resurgence and has a significant positive impact on the music industry.
