Netflix's 'Atlas', a sci-fi action thriller starring Jennifer Lopez, is slated for release on May 24, 2024.

The plot centers around Atlas Shepherd (Lopez), a data analyst who must collaborate with an A.I. to thwart a robot with whom she has a history.

Simu Liu plays the antagonist, a Terminator-like A.I. named Harlan, in a future where an A.I. soldier wants to exterminate humanity to end war.

Directed by Brad Peyton with a script by Leo Sardarian and Aron Eli Coleite, 'Atlas' features a strong supporting cast including Sterling K. Brown and Mark Strong.

While there is some skepticism about the film's potential success, it is anticipated to be a hit on the streaming platform.

Jennifer Lopez is also involved in upcoming projects including the production and starring roles in a 'Kiss of the Spider-Woman' reboot and an untitled Bob the Builder movie.
