On January 31, 2025, Jennie of BLACKPINK released her new single titled 'Love Hangover', featuring Dominic Fike, which explores the allure of a toxic relationship.

Described as a mellow track, 'Love Hangover' delves into the complex attraction to someone toxic yet intoxicating.

The music video for 'Love Hangover', directed by Bradley & Pablo, features American actor Charles Melton and was filmed in Mexico City.

The visuals in the music video depict the struggles of breaking away from a damaging love, showcasing various situations the couple faces together.

This release follows a surprise music video for another song from her upcoming album, 'Zen', which was dropped just a week prior.

'Zen' is the second single from Jennie's upcoming solo debut album 'Ruby', following the first single 'Mantra', released in October 2024.

The album 'Ruby', scheduled for release on March 7, 2025, will feature 15 tracks and collaborations with artists such as Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, and Kali Uchis.

All three songs, including 'Mantra', 'Zen', and 'Love Hangover', will be fully released as part of the album 'Ruby'.

To celebrate the launch of her album, Jennie announced 'The Ruby Experience', a four-city concert series starting with two shows in Los Angeles on March 6 and 7.

Following the Los Angeles shows, Jennie will perform in New York on March 10 and conclude the series in Seoul on March 15.

Tickets for the U.S. shows will go on sale on January 31, 2025, at 10 a.m. local time.

Jennie began her solo career in 2018 and started planning her album after Blackpink's last tour concluded in 2023.
