Callina Liang has been cast as Chun-Li in the upcoming Street Fighter reboot movie produced by Legendary, following her recent role in the supernatural thriller Presence directed by Steven Soderbergh.

Liang joins a notable cast that includes Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken, Jason Momoa in an undisclosed role, former WWE champion Roman Reigns, and Orville Peck.

Chun-Li, a skilled martial artist and Interpol officer first introduced in 1991's Street Fighter II, has been portrayed previously by Ming-Na Wen in the 1994 film and by Kristin Kreuk in the 2009 adaptation.
