A preview of the auction items will be held during the 4th Annual Legacy of Love Gala in Atlanta on August 9, 2025, which coincides with what would have been Houston's 62nd birthday.

Potential bidders can participate through multiple bidding options, including online, phone, in person, or absentee bids.

Notable auction items include Houston's signature stage outfits, jewelry, and items like her black catsuit, green velour pantsuit, and a yellow dress from 'Dancing With the Stars.'

The auction marks the 40th anniversary of Whitney Houston's music career and will feature a variety of her iconic stage outfits, personal effects, and memorabilia, including her casino-themed jacket, 1994 FIFA World Cup jersey, and a multi-platinum award for 'I Will Always Love You.'

Houston's extraordinary career includes over 400 awards, such as six Grammys and 22 American Music Awards, and her induction into both the Grammy Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

She sold over 220 million records worldwide and is renowned for the best-selling soundtrack album of all time, 'The Bodyguard: Original Soundtrack Album.'

In June 2025, Houston received 11 new posthumous certifications from the RIAA, making her the first African American artist with three diamond-certified albums.

Whitney Houston passed away on February 11, 2012, at age 48, due to drowning related to heart disease and cocaine use.
