October 1, 2025
The 2025 DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll results were announced at an awards show in Ibiza, with David Guetta securing his fifth No. 1 spot, tying the record for most wins, in a ceremony hosted by Arielle Free.
The poll supported social causes through a partnership with Bridges for Music, encouraging artists and attendees to donate and sponsor students from underserved communities.
Martin Garrix maintained his influence, ranking second after Guetta, while Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike retained their position at No.4, reinforcing their festival dominance.
A notable trend this year was the influx of hard techno DJs into the poll, with Sara Landry crowned the No.1 Hard DJ and new artists like Nico Moreno and I Hate Models gaining recognition.
Guetta launched his ambitious residency Galactic Circus at UNVRS in Ibiza, featuring four-hour sets with a mix of deep house, tech-house, and improvisation, performed at major venues like AlUla and Stade de France.
For the first time, the No. 1 DJ was crowned live at the newly opened UNVRS venue in Ibiza, where Guetta performed a two-hour headline set alongside other top DJs like Armin van Buuren and Boris Brejcha.
The event celebrated a diverse lineup of artists, including Armin van Buuren, Michael Bibi, Sara Landry, Jazzy, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, emphasizing the festival's global and inclusive appeal.
Solomun climbed 33 places to No.55, driven by his Ibiza residency at Chinois, while Honey Dijon re-entered the list, highlighting the influence of club residencies on rankings.
Michael Bibi made the highest new entry at No.48, with other newcomers such as PAWSA, HUGEL, and Honey Dijon also gaining recognition, reflecting emerging talent and genre diversity.
Guetta showcased his versatility with a high-energy remix for the fictional K-pop act Huntr/x and continued engaging large audiences at major festivals like Tomorrowland Belgium.
Alok rose to No.3 for the first time, breaking a four-year streak at No.4, underscoring his global popularity and streaming success.
The annual fan-voted DJ Mag Top 100 poll remains influential and controversial, often driven by promotional campaigns but also serving as a vital business tool in Asia for boosting artists' credibility and booking fees.
