Gorillaz has released 'The Manifesto,' a seven-minute track that explores themes of life, death, and rebirth, featuring collaborations with Trueno, Proof, and traditional Indian musicians, and is part of their upcoming album 'The Mountain.'

The band debuted 'The Manifesto' during a recent London show, which also coincided with an exhibition at the same venue, celebrating their milestone anniversary.

The song is segmented into three parts, with Trueno singing in the first and third sections, and Proof delivering a verse in the second, complemented by a visualiser with flickering, pulse-like visuals that match the meditative tone.

The album 'The Mountain' aims to be a return to Gorillaz's earlier style, with Damon Albarn describing it as closest to their 2010 album 'Plastic Beach,' and it features a panoramic soundscape with dubby bass, live textures, and international instruments.

Damon Albarn performed at the 'Together For Palestine' event in London, where he joined artists like Yasiin Bey and Omar Souleyman to perform 'Damascus,' a song also included on the new album.

Gorillaz is actively promoting the album with the release of a visualiser, an online video game called Kong Studios, and recent live performances, emphasizing their ongoing evolution as a multimedia and musical project.

The band has announced a UK and Ireland tour, including multiple cities such as Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Cardiff, Nottingham, Liverpool, Belfast, and Dublin, with some shows already sold out and additional dates added due to high demand.

Their tour will also include a headline performance at Primavera Sound Barcelona in June 2026, sharing the stage with major acts like The Cure, The xx, Doja Cat, and Massive Attack.

Gorillaz operates without advertising revenue, relying instead on ticket sales and supporter contributions, and encourages fans to purchase tickets through their platform.

Additional promotional activities include sharing videos from recent live performances and launching new multimedia projects to engage their global audience.
