Netflix will air a live darts competition called Beat Luke Littler on October 30, where amateurs attempt to defeat world number one Luke Littler for a prize of 501,000 pounds.

The show features Luke Littler, the world darts champion, taking on twenty amateur challengers.

The event will be streamed live on Netflix, framing a potential five minutes of fame for top amateur players.

Darts legend Gerwyn Price praised Littler’s exceptional talent after losing to him in the World Matchplay final, highlighting his impact on the sport.

Applicants must be over 12, and those under 18 require a parent or guardian; applicants must be legally able to live in or travel to the UK for production.

As part of the lead-up, Littler posted a video inviting challengers to apply.

Open regional heats in September in Manchester and London will narrow players to 20 who will compete against Littler in the live broadcast.
